Stage 2 provides attendees with the skills and resource background to devise their own sessions and work closely with teachers to be able to tailor-make sessions to fit in with classroom lessons or align with the national curriculum. You will also learn how to work with all age groups from infant and primary school and how to plan long-term for a year group.

Stage 2 is only open to those who have completed Stage 1 of our training. In order to do Stage 2 you must have had experience in schools teaching philosophy.

Attending the Stage 2 course will give you:
 
  1. •Ability to run philosophy sessions with all primary year groups
  2. •An increase in your session fee to Level 3 rate (for more details of consultancy fees see  prices) after successful observation
  3. •Ability to devise sessions of your own to fit with curriculum topics
The Stage 2 course is 3 days and is £350 (10% discount for students), it includes:
  1. •Running a devised session of you own
  2. •Example sessions and model for devising
  3. •60 page Handbook detailing the course content
  4. •Training with year groups 1-3 if required
  5. •Email/phone support from The Philosophy Shop
  6. •A certificate of attendance
